Experience of a Valencia Trader team member!

and at that time it was just a very tiny site without a lot of articles but with lot of good idea's already in place.

Very carefull I put in an article because we gathered so much knowledge after living here for a year. So in came some shopping tips, a friend gave me tips about kids and medicines in Spain and than I started to get lots of info from the people around me, put this in or that. E-mails and phonecalls came in regularly with good suggestions tips and comments. So again a joined effort was made to get lots of news in the Valencia Trader.

Ofcourse it is a learning curve, at the start I just wrote two lines and put in a link. I was scared to make any mistakes writing in English, not my mother tongue.

But than I thought who cares, we are all here to learn from each other and started to write more information myself. Also encouraged by Martin who set up this site. He gave me all the trust and space to do so.

In summer I had to take a "little" break, building work at our house took over our lives and ofcourse took "a bit longer than expected" it is Spain after all. In the meantime some good changes were made in the Valencia Trader and they started to use more photo's which makes the site look very interesting.

 Also we got more people joining the team, each with his or her own input which made it more diverse. It needed this because there are so many aspects about Valencia, and it is great to read more about this through different stories, by different people.

So now the festive season is here and reflecting, I feel very proud to be part of this team.

We learned a lot, met new people and had some great talks and discussions about Valencia, living in Spain and ofcourse the Valencia Trader. We will keep on charing this experience with you and we have already a few new ideas, not only us but also other members of this team. So thanks again for your support and also thanks to Martin to give us this opportunity!

All in all it was a great year and I hope you will be there with us  next year,
