Parents Found

It was revealed last night that the Guardia Civil have detained a 21-year-old girl and her 44-year-old companion in the belief that they are the parents of a baby left inside a bank, close to a cash machine and wrapped in a sheet. The baby was only two days old when it was discovered by a man who had come to use the cash facility and alerted the emergency services. The baby was discovered in the Playa Flamenco bank on Orihuela Costa, but it is believed the parents are from Murcia. These revelations were made as Alicia de Miguel, the Social Services Consellera stated that her services ‘had probably’ found some parents who wanted to take charge of the infant.
