Archive Group Set Up

At a meeting in Barcelona yesterday between Culture Minister Carmen Calvo, and the Presidents of Catalunia Jose Montilla , Francisco Camps of the Valencian Community, Jaume Matas from the Balearic Islands and Marcelino Iglesias, President of Aragon, it was decided to set up an official; Archive of the Crown of Aragon.  As a result of the talks, Aragon will host and store the collection that contains 5,907 linear metres of documents contained in 60,000 volumes that represents the most detailed history that exists of the Mediterranean area of Spain in Middle Ages.

Memories

The luxury home outside Denia set amidst high pine trees known as the Tossalet de Girona, has an interesting story to tell, for in 1940 it belonged to Johannes Bernhardt, who at one stage was the most important representative of Hitler in Spain.
