Bird Deaths
The bodies of hundreds of birds have been discovered near the Fervasa Garbage plant in Aldaia, just outside Valencia. Commenting on the incident, the Conselleria for the Territory stated that poisoning was suspected, but that autopsies will be carried out in order to determine whether avian flu was involved. Early this morning, it was revealed that the numbers of dead birds found had increased to almost three thousand and stretched to a radius of five kilometres around the Fervasa plant, whilst the preliminary results of the first autopsies will be made known later today.Author: Valencia Life
