FIB 2008 Benicassim

Benicassim 2008 festival dates are 17,18,19,20 July 2008.
The FIB Heineken 2008 festival (FIB stands for Festival Internacional de Benicassim) is due to hit Benicassim on the 17th of July through to the 20th July 2008, offering a star-studded line up of internationally recognised bands.
Each year a brilliant line-up is organised - for 2008, just a few of the artists include:- Mika, My Bloody Valentine, Siouxzie, Gnarls Barkley, Leonard Cohen, Babyshambles and many more!

Local Information
Benicassim first became a tourist destination over a hundred years ago. Its fine sand, gently sloping beaches, clean waters and numerous facilities continue
to shape a resort chosen by thousands of people. The Benicasim district has much more besides. With the backdrop of the "Desert de les Palmes" natural park,
there are an endless number of places worth visiting. Culture and leisure, activity and rest are simultaneous possibilities.
Where to Stay
Benicassim is a holiday town with plenty of hotels and apartments. Unfortunately most of these are booked up a long time in advance.
Valencia capital, located about one hour south of Benicassim, offers another option, with numerous hotels catering for all needs at competitive prices.

Ticket Information:
There are four ticket types: (Prices to be confirmed)
Tickets are avialble from lastminute.com
-Three-day pass: Includes entrance to the Festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as nine days of free camping in the Festival campgrounds.
-Four-day pass: Includes entrance to the Festival on Thursday , Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as nine days of free camping in the Festival campgrounds.
-One-day pass: A ticket to attend one day of the Festival, but does not include access to the camping areas.
-FIBStart ticket: A ticket to attend the opening day of the Festival, Thursday.
