Secret Valencia
Welcome to Secret Valencia, an innovative travel company which allows you the chance to discover and explore the many unspoiled destinations that Valencia has to offer.Welcome to Secret Valencia, an innovative travel company which allows you the chance to discover and explore the many unspoiled destinations that Valencia has to offer.
We reveal a hidden side of Valencia, from the narrow, medieval backstreets of the capital, to juniper and pine-clad mountain villages and finally to white sand beaches, bordered by fragrant orange groves, all of which could be easily overlooked if travelling alone.
This holiday can be everything you want it to be - that unique holiday experience we all look for.... But shhhh keep it a secret..

Secret Valencia itinerary
Day 1
You’re off to Valencia, the vibrant capital of the region. On arrival you will be met at the airport, a mere ten minutes by car from your accommodation. We have chosen a smart, classic hotel which overlooks a lively Plaza at the heart of Valencia.
The location is ideal for sampling coffee and cakes in the street cafes, wandering through the narrow streets of the old town and excellent shopping. The area boasts many fine restaurants serving tapas, seafood or Valencia’s traditional dish, Paella.
The city has first-rate contemporary and traditional art galleries, and excellent museums, parks and gardens all within walking distance. Remember to save some energy for the Spanish nightlife which gets going about 11pm…..
Day 2
Continue your exploration of Valencia. You can buy every ingredient for a paella, including the huge pans, at Valencia’s oldest market, the colourful Mercado Central (Central Market), or visit Valencia’s newest, architectural venture, the Calatrava designed, Ciudad de las Arts Y de las Ciencias (City of Arts & Sciences).
At 6pm we meet you back at the hotel and depart for your next destination.
(NB not March or April as the hotel is not open, 2nd night will be spent in Valencia)
|
|
We head for a hillside hotel with breathtaking views, swimming pool and terraces overlooking the coast. The hotel is decorated in traditional rural style and has a superb ambience. A paella meal will be served during the evening, so eat, relax, sip a cold drink and watch the sun go down. A wonderful way to end a wonderful day. |
|
Day 3 & 4
This town has a good deal to offer, accessible beaches and safe clean swimming, a rambling, picturesque old town, orange grove walks and many sports amenities including golf, cycling and gyms. After breakfast, we will meet for coffee and give you all the information you need to make this a great couple of days which is personally tailored to you requirements. |
|
Beautiful bike rides through orange grove
Golf on award winning golf course
Bird watching in natural parks
Health spa facilities
Shopping in the capital of La Safor
If you would like to know more about these optional extras or if you have any special interests and would like us to try and arrange something to suit your needs, using our local knowledge and experience, email us at: info@secretvalencia.com
Day 5
Wake up to the hustle and bustle of the local weekly market held right outside your hotel. The market has stalls selling fruit & vegetables, flowers and crafts and provides a lively place for the locals to congregate, shop and chat. After the market ends, there’s time to grab a quick coffee and then leave for our next destination.
|
|
|
We have booked for you to stay the night in a very special hotel in a tranquil rural setting. Its restaurant is celebrated locally for both its fine wines and menu, which includes vegetarian options. Dinner is served on a jasmine filled patio, with a small pool, overlooking a terraced valley of almond and olive orchards.
|
Day 6 We will meet you at 1pm to take you back to the city of Valencia. We hope you are feeling nicely relaxed and ready to embrace the city a final time. |
![]() |
Day 7
If you have the energy we would recommend a visit to a rastro, Spanish flea market. There is a wonderful one in the heart of Valencia. These markets are a mixture of treasure and bricabrac, but the tradition atmosphere, and frantic haggling make them an exhilarating experience.
Then finally we drop you at the airport. Hopefully you will have many happy memories, new friends and a few souvenirs to remind yourself of this wonderful holiday and Secret Valencia experience.
NB the itinerary is liable to change to include fiestas and other events.

Secret Valencia also allows you, the traveller, the time and space to quietly discover your own personal version of this exquisite region. We understand that everyones needs are different, and offer as much flexibility and freedom as possible.
Groups of up to eight people will spend a week in the Valencia region, splitting the time between city, mountains and beaches, in accommodation handpicked for its charm and situation.
The holiday is very much your own and you can be as busy or relaxed as you choose, taking advantage of our local knowledge and expertise whenever you need. Activities such as golf, bike riding, health spa day, even bird watching can be chosen to customize your own holiday.
