Albufera de Anna
Looking for a place to take the whole family, spend the entire day lounging around in the fresh air whilst also being able to enjoy a swim in a natural (but shallow) swimming pool?
The Albefera de Anna offers all this and more. It features several restuarants (menus available and also very good wood cooked paella's) a camping site (if you want to stay for more than a day) and a well stocked children's playground.

For those of you not brave enough to strip off and enjoy the natural swimming pool (complete with natural waterfall and shallow areas for the smaller kids) you can pay a small fee to enjoy the massive "formal" outdoor pool. Or you can do both!
There are plenty of spots for picnics (get there early in the summer to grab your spot as it is popular with locals - especially at the weekends).
My family enjoy this spot all year round. There is a small entrance fee in the Summer (if you want to park) but it is free for the rest of the year.
Did I mention the boating lake, the clear lake with fishes (my kids think they are sharks!) and the overall beauty of the area? No? Well I just did.
Enjoy!
I look forward to receiving comments from those who have been here - what are your thoughts on the place - any tips to share?
