There are ofcourse other big super markets, like the Carrefour, on the seaside there is Al Campo Alborailla on the CV 21 , next to it is Leroy Merlin a big DIY shop. There is also an McDonalds and in the summer there is a market on the seafront.
If you want cheaper but also good quality building materials look at the nearest
Brico Stock. You need some patience, but good value for money. On the road towards Lliria. They are open from 8 in the morning, but close over lunch and open again till 10 in the evening.

An other big shopping area is Bon Aire, with lots of very cheap factory outlets. This you can find near the Valencia airport. Worth a visit. A7, exit Madrid and then follow signs back to Valencia, you will see it posted on the road.
El Salar, Nuevo Centre, Corte Ingles and Hibercor are all dotted around Valencia and you will find them easy. Just ask, to brush up your Spanish. Also they are mentioned in our other artikel about shopping, there it will even tell you which metro-stop you have to take.
