Terra Mitica - New Attractions
The new attraction Achilles joins the theme park, Terra Mítica in Benidorm. There are also other surprising shows: Peter Pan, the Musical and Egyptian Nights, with which the park will be opening the car park and Egyptian area to the public free of charge from half past nine at night and with a great multimedia aquatic show.
The Park has started its summer schedule with daily openings from 10:00 to 22:00.
In this area of the park, situated next to the entrance, one can enjoy The Pyramid of Terror, dinner in an all-mod-con restaurant such as the Luxor, in the grillroom Sports Bar Tebas or in one of the various fast food establishments to be found in this area. One can also use the Mitikarts situated in the car park, the games installed in the Bulevar de los Dioses (Boulevard of the Gods), acquire souvenirs in the shops of Egypt or enjoy the great multimedia show.
This great multimedia show is one of the great novelties of this season. It will be called Latidos del mar (The Heart Beats of the Sea) and it will be put on every night at 23:30. Conceived as a show for a public of all ages, Latidos del Mar boasts a formidable technical display that, together with a meticulous sound track with different musical styles – jazz, disco, techno and cinematographic hits – will provide musical support for the story.
The central element, situated in the lake of Egypt, is made up of a geyser that reaches a height of 30 metres and a water screen that is 20 metres wide by 15 metres high on which will be projected the images. At the same time 20 water spouts set out in fan shape and 4 water sprays, capable of reaching a height of 8 metres, will serve as a support to the different phases of the narrative.
But before this, at 21:45, Peter Pan, The Musical will begin for all the visitors of the park or for those only wishing to see this show with a spectacular scenography in the open air. With the same songs as ever plus some new compositions, Peter Pan, The Musical is a family show that both old and young will enjoy. Its mobile stages, representing such different places such as London, the jungle of the Never Never Land, a pirate ship or the cave homes of the lost children, amongst other places, contributes dynamism and an exquisite staging that helps the spectator to travel through time and space in an absolutely subtle and credible way.
This show costs three euros for those who buy a day pass, six euros for those who buy an afternoon pass, twelve euros for those holding a season pass and 18 euros for those coming specifically to see this show.
