The FIB Heineken 2007 festival (FIB stands for Festival Internacional de Benicassim) is due to hit Benicassim on the 19th of July through to the 22nd July 2007, offering a star-studded line up of internationally recognised bands. Quite simply, you won't believe you eyes and ears!
Each year a brilliant line-up is organised - for 2007, just a few of the artists include:- Iggy and the Stooges, Artic Monkeys, B-52's, The Human League, Jamie T, Amy Winehouse, Armand Van Helden, Muse and many more!
The full-schedule and line-up can be seen below:
The official website is www.fiberfib.com (but you can also get there using http://www.festival-benicassim.com) and can be viewed in English where you can buy your tickets online, there is advice on how to get there, local information, travel information and much more...
Local Information
Benicassim first became a tourist destination over a hundred years ago. Its fine sand, gently sloping beaches, clean waters and numerous facilities continue to shape a resort chosen by thousands of people. The Benicasim district has much more besides. With the backdrop of the "Desert de les Palmes" natural park, there are an endless number of places worth visiting. Culture and leisure, activity and rest are simultaneous possibilities.
Where to Stay
Benicassim is a holiday town with plenty of hotels and apartments. Unfortunately most of these are booked up a long time in advance.
Valencia capital, located about one hour south of Benicassim, offers another option, with numerous hotels catering for all needs at competitive prices.

If you prefer to enjoy the festival as a 'real' festival go'er, the Festival has 3 camp sites of their own which you also pay for in the ticket price. For those eager enough, you can turn and up and start camping up to a week before the festival starts and spend some time in Benicassim its self acclimitising to the surroundings.
Ticket Information:
You can buy tickets for the whole 4 days (160 Euros if you buy in advance, expect to pay more from the box office).
Alternatively, 3 day tickets are 145 Euros (advance).
If you just want to go on a single day then you may see prices being published soon (you could buy individual day tickets last year and the price depended on who was headlining the day).
