The Festvial Eclectic comes to the City of Arts and Sciences with many concerts and shows.
From the 20th to 27th July 2008 the City of Arts & Sciences will be hosting the seventh Festival Eclèctic, a free festival with stage productions and concerts that are sure to please everyone.
The Eclèctic Festival starts at 10:30 pm on Sunday 20th July with a performance from Javier Limón’s flamenco-latin-jazz band that will be playing tracks from his second album “Son de Limón”, accompanied by the singer Concha Buika and the bailaor Farru.
On Friday, 25th July, the motor will be the main theme of the Eclèctic Nit open-air shows in which different artists will be appearing as of 7:00 pm to offer street theatre, entertainment, workshops, street parades and juggling, all on the City of Arts and Sciences premises. There will also be a concert with the “son cubano” band “Orishas”.
The band that pays tribute to Pink Floyd, “The Australian Pink Floyd Show”, will be playing on 27th July and will include a complete presentation of “Dark Side of the Moon”, plus the group’s classics and a show full of the special effects reminiscent of the original Pink Floyd.
