The FIB 2005 festival (FIB stands for Festival Internacional de Benicassim) is about to hit town and you won't believe your eyes and ears.
Perhaps it would feel like a bit of a dream if the legendary Oasis came and played in a small town in Valencia? Well here they come - along with superb newcomer Keane (currently playing in the Valencia Trader office), The Cure, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and a huge line up of other bands both international and local.
For 4 days, from the 4th to 7th August 2005, the Benicassim festival will rock to the best sounds available. If you've never seen Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds then this is your chance!
The official website (www.fiberfib.com) has pages in English and you can buy your tickets online. There is advice on how to get there, how to stay there (you can camp out from a few days before to a few days after - make it into one of those lifelong memories!) and how to get the best out of it.
You can buy tickets for the whole 4 days (approx 152 Euros if you buy in advance, or 175 Euros from the box office).
Alternatively, 3 day tickets are 140 Euros (advance) or 160 Euros respectively.
If you just want to go on a single day then the price varies:
* Thursday 4th is 35 Euros (advance) or 45 Euros
* The other days (with the headlining bands) are 60 Euros (advance) or 70 Euros (box office)
And because this is a festival there wlil be plenty to see and do including films, fashion, theatre, art, dance and courses.

If you're going, please send us your photos.
If you're not going, do you fancy babysitting for 4 days?!
Enjoy!
