LIVE 8, every three seconds! G8 did you hear us????
A definite plea to the G8 to listen, we were all there...
The song goes...
Don't keep me standing here!
Don't keep me waiting here!
Long and winding roads..
As so many artists Sir Paul did his best and choose an apropriate song for this special occassion.
We followed it on AOL and were impressed with the quality and the possibility to switch from country to country to hear what was going on there.
But lets not forget to put pressure on the G8,
NO MORE POVERTY!
let there not be a click every 3 seconds,
Children dying because?
but you can make the difference. We were all there! Now show us that you can be there for so many more!!!...... G8?
This day in musical history was enormous, overpowering and superb. Who could ever think live 8 could be better then 20 years ago, and in such a short time.
But they were and the amount of artist and there performances where overwhelming.
Sir Bob Geldorf this was amazing and we thank you for having the guts to do this again. Besides having the fun of watching all these great performers in so many different countries, the awareness it brought cannot be ignored....
I hope that we safe some kids and have no more poverty, hunger or war.
You still can sign for this on AOL, just do it, it is for a worthy course.
Read what the official site says, donnot forget to join the LONG WALK TO JUSTICE
The Long Walk to Justice that calls on the leaders of the world’s richest countries to act when they meet in Gleneagles on 6th-9th July. Live 8 can be watched on tv. but

Bob Geldof:
"This is not Live Aid 2.
These concerts are the start point for The Long Walk To Justice, the one way we can all make our voices heard in unison.
This is without doubt a moment in history where ordinary people can grasp the chance to achieve something truly monumental and demand from the 8 world leaders at G8 an end to poverty.
The G8 leaders have it within their power to alter history. They will only have the will to do so if tens of thousands of people show them that enough is enough.
By doubling aid, fully cancelling debt, and delivering trade justice for Africa, the G8 could change the future for millions of men, women and children."
Every single day, 30,000 children die, needlessly, of extreme poverty.
On July 6th, we finally have the opportunity to stop that shameful statistic.
8 world leaders, gathered in Scotland for the G8 summit, will be presented with a workable plan to double aid, drop the debt and make the trade laws fair. If these 8 men agree, then we will become the generation that made poverty history.
But they'll only do it if enough people tell them to.
That's why we're staging Live 8. 10 concerts, 100 artists, a million spectators, 2 billion viewers, and 1 message... To get those 8 men, in that 1 room, to stop 30,000 children dying every single day of extreme poverty.
We don't want your money - we want you!
